YLEA 2015: Youth Leadership Excellence Awards

The Youth Leadership Excellence Awards (YLEA) is one of the flagship projects of the Junior Chamber International-Philippines. In March of every year, this activity is being conducted by multiple JCI Philippines Chapters within their regions/areas of responsibility with the objective of giving due recognition to outstanding public and private elementary and high school students, and to inspire them towards greater achievements in life.

Partnering with JCI Manila and Honorable Senator Joseph Victor “JV” Ejercito, an awards ceremony was held at the Manila City Hall Bulwagan on March 30, 2015 to honor 104 select students, one from each school throughout the City of Manila. Each of the awardees was given a Certificate of Recognition, a medal, and a loot bag, in the presence of, no less, than, Mayor Joseph Estrada and Senator JV Ejercito.

For a more inspiring and festive vibe, the awardees and guests were also serenaded through a heart-felt song number by the Juan Luna Elementary School Children’s Choir.

It is indeed another mission accomplished by JCI Manileña and JCI Manila in service of their beloved city.
