Be the change you want to see.

JCI Manileña is the premiere all-female youth development organization in Asia dedicated to creating development opportunities, empowering young people and creating positive change in the community.

About Us

We are JCI Manileña, a non-profit, non-government organization youth development organization based in Manila, Philippines.

MISSION

To create development opportunities that empower young people to create positive change

VISION

To become the leading global network of young active citizens

Development Goals

JCI Manileña’s programs are aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals designed to be a “blueprint to achieve a better and more sustainable future for all.”

By investing in women’s education, our environment and our people’s mental health – we take steps towards rebuilding the city, country and world that we envision.

Join us as we create positive change together.

Our programs for 2022 focus on 3 key areas

Women

We are mothers, caregivers and teachers who play a critical role in every child’s development.

As we invest in women, we invest in our future and as we provide development opportunities that educate and empower women – we build a strong foundation for an entire generation.

Environment

Manila is the most densely populated city in the world. To counter its impact, we all need to reduce our carbon footprint and develop long term environmental programs.

Peace

Ultimately our goal is peace and balance, and we believe this starts with inner peace.

Poor living conditions lead to poor mental health. The pandemic only made this worse, and mental health programs will help build resilient people to rise from our current state.

We make real impact

“Be the change you want to see. Nothing has felt better than being part of a cause much greater than me, serving our communities, and helping other women grow.”

Alexandra Dayrit

“I'm so grateful to be surrounded by strong, beautiful, empowered women who inspire me to be my best. Those are the kinds of people you meet in JCI Manileña.”

Naima Aharijan

"I am happy that I accepted the challenge of being the 2020 president. I grew beyond as a person and experienced so many new things."

Charis Gutierrez

“From a then international flight attendant with a routine lifestyle, my life transformed into a woman whose desire for more in life meant MORE FOR OTHERS. The JCI Manileña culture opened doors for me to find my Nirvana.”
