JCI Manilena commits to the following UNSDGs for 2021, with the declaration that:
Our community deserves access to health services and affordable healthcare, which is addressed under UN SDG No. 3. Good Health and Well-Being, specifically:
Target No. 3.7

By 2030, ensure universal access to sexual and reproductive health-care services, including for family planning, information and education, and the integration of reproductive health into national strategies and programmes, and,

Target No. 3.8
Achieve universal health coverage, including financial risk protection, access to quality essential health-care services and access to safe, effective, quality and affordable essential medicines and vaccines for all.
Education is the greatest equalizer and provides the best chance for every individual to achieve their full potential, which is targeted under UN SDG No. 4. Quality Education, specifically,
Target No. 4.4
By 2030, substantially increase the number of youth and adults who have relevant skills, including technical and vocational skills, for employment, decent jobs and entrepreneurship;

Economic growth needs to involve both communities and government to make lasting improvements, which is targeted under UN SDG No. 8. Decent Work and Economic Growth, specifically,

Target No. 8.3
Promote development-oriented policies that support productive activities, decent job creation, entrepreneurship, creativity and innovation, and encourage the formalization and growth of micro-, small- and medium-sized enterprises, including through access to financial services;
The theme of JCI is “Be Better,” which speaks about creating positive change for oneself and for his neighbor, for his environment, for his community, for his country, and for the world that we are living in.
The theme of JCI Philippines for the year 2021 is “More for Others” — for our members to better themselves and to accomplish more so they can give the best of themselves for others through greater opportunities for human, intellectual, moral and social growth capitalizing on their strong attitude of people engagement, social responsibility and community involvement.
